From the beginning of his political career, barak never shared the values of Labour. He and lieberman are clones and his political career was marked by deceit, duplicity and arrogance. Good riddance. Notice the boasting from netanyahu as barak betrays his party. He declares that the government is now in a better position to hold firm in its intransigence in negotiating with the Palestinians. In the days ahead we will see a robust advance in further construction in the occupied territories and the juaisation of EJ. Check baraks's record since his deceitful moves made to look like gestures toward peace, his "generous offer" at Camp David, up till the present with his stance on the illegal outposts (which he committed to the US would be down, and how many yrs ago was that and where are those more than 20 illegal outposts today? As for the call of Meretz for the formation of a new, social democratic zionist coalition, well, good luck, but even Meretz must know in their heart of hearts that that dream has turned into a nightmare and they havent a chance. Very soon Meretz will find itself in the same position of Hadash.
