At annual Super Bowl Sunday prayer event, held in Israel for the first time, women at the Western Wall rejoiced in the recent egalitarian win there. But some women consider it a loss.20:11 07.02.16 | 0 comments
You are right on Jenna. There is no war between Israel and Palestinians. Abbas is trying his best to conduct a referendum. It's not clear why Israel must make negative declarations. The referendum may not be a basis for negotiations but is a step forward. Hamas was holding on to a cease fire quite assiduously, although imperfect because some fringe organizations defied it. Israel is certainly entitled to defend itself against the terrorists, but proportionately. What was Peretz told by the military to rescind his order against indiscriminate shelling? Escalation of the conflict is not going to help anyone. It's an unending game. The other side will escalate even more, etc. On the other hand, if Hamas enters the action officially it will be a declaration of war because they are the government. Let just take it easy. It's better to underreact than to overreact.
