Before 1917, Palestine was not a state but under the Ottoman administration . I can't say that Ottomans were tolerant maybe a bit more than Arabs, since in April 1917 Neverthelessthey expelled Jews from young Tel Aviv because they were Jews. You are rewriting history, Salma. Before 1967, under Jordanian jurisdiction you needed the baptism certificate to pray at the western wall. As for Israel preventing Muslims and Christians from West Bank and Gaza from praying in Jerusalem , soon enough there won't be Christians in Gaza thanks to Hamas, Jews are preventing from praying at the Temple Mount called Al Aqsa by Muslims . Al Aqsa is administrated by the muslim Waqf. And in theory if I were a settler living in the West bank who wanted to stay there I couldn't , I wouldn't be granted the Palestinian citizenship because of the Palestinian Authority: "Judenrein"
