I know that the Palestinian issue is serious and it has to be discussed, but it beats me that the Russian FM whose central government has yet to let the Chechens have their own country is promoting the cause of the Palestinian Arabs. Doesn't he realize what effect it has on the Moslems of Chechniya? If Palestine, why not Chechniya. Then again, the Russians would never let their insurgents overcome the Central government in Moscow. While I at it, Corsica was supposed to become independent from France--what happened?! The French got cold feet. perhaps and felt so attached to the colony they have been occupying for so long they couldn't let go. They all come hat in hand to Israel about Gaza. I wonder why. Are they trying to cover up their own embarassments by making Israel look bad.
