He's a demogogue. Whenever one guy gets up and says he expresses the hopes and aspirations of an entire continent of people, you have to wonder. Now I'm pretty sure there are a lot worse than him, but you see by playing along with him, we are just encouraging him to keep going forward with his messages. So maybe we need to concentrate more on other people in Latin America that may be gifted in other ways. I watch the Spanish Language channels over here and they cover some of the news down there but mostly the violence and the soccer games. The English channels seem to find only Chavez interesting. You see, we are creating him. I think we need to pay more attention in our English media here in America to what is going on down there. Not just the politics, the drugs, and the violence. But also pay attention to the artists and writers. More of us need to learn Spanish too as well as Hebrew. Chavez is a cross-over phenomena because the left like his Chutzpah. I for one like Shakira.

Not a migrant, not an immigrant – there has to be a third option, but he doesn't know how to say it in English, Arabic or Hebrew.
