"have you ever considered That whoever did this, and we don`t knoiw that it is Israel, British intelligence may have been in on it and provided the passports?" No, because it wouldn't make any sense. British intelligence would not supply British passports because it would implicate them. We're all big boys and girls ChanahS. We know intelligence agencies use fake and foreign passports. Howwever, there is a fundamental differnce between slipping silently in and out of a country on some espionage mission on a foeign passport and arming some rather high-profile hit squad with them. The latter is not just a serious infringement of national symbols, it puts genuine UK passport holders under suspicion and potentially at risk. I don't mind Mossad killing a terrorist who has targetted civilians, if it was Mossad but, in a rather crude phrase, they should crap on their own doorstep, not on ours.

A milestone birthday is as good an opportunity as any for a midlife crisis about the Middle East crises.
