"Since when is lobbing qassam rocket over a border into Israeli towns and villages not an "act of war". Since when are declarations to annihilate a country not a declaration of war? Since when are perpetual attacks on civilians not an act of war?" One could point out that invading, occupying, oppressing and disrupting people's lives in almost every detail would be an act of war, but Israel calls it security. Still, what you speak of are acts of terrorism by a small number of organized individuals who are either Islamist militants (who hate everybody) or freedom fighters (however misquided in their methods) who are trying to bring the world's attention to their plight and seek some measure of revenge for what is happening to them. Trite but true, two wrongs do not make a right. By your thinking, we would all run around armed and shoot first at anyone who looks different or thinks differently from us, or just looks like some other people who do. What's that called?

For French teen studying in Israel, it's all about being a Jew among Jews

Arrivals / Departures: Anti-Semitism in France is certainly not the reason why this teen chose to come to Israel; an Israeli whose relatives perished in the Holocaust finds living in Berlin 'perfectly fine.'
