    i completely agree with you when you said that the figures would be far far greater without the ethics of the iaf and idf but....... in my mind if a real general like sharon or rabin with a full experience of the ground level were in place now instead of olmert i don't think he would never permit this complete destruction of the lebanese infrastructure and would have concentrate on military objectives even he would have known that these infrastructure would be used by hezb. Those kind of easy victories and destruction have always a high counterpart price to pay. I think that some of the hardliner in iran are really enjoying the destruction of lebanon ( beyrouth is the whore of saudis for them) and the trap of a long war of attrition begining against israel. The last point is that the thousands of technicians working on the nuclear iranian program will even more speed up the pace as a consequence of what they've seen in Lebannon
