"What would you do with a populace that overwhelmingly supported the Hezbollah side of the Second Lebanon War?" Reward them for their farsightedness? you know that most of the rest of the world - including a MAJORITY of jews in the US and most of Europe thought your little exercise in mayhem in Lebanon was way over the top disproportionate. The fact that israelis supported the bombing campaign, which ended up costing 100's of civilian lives, demolished infrastructure and caused further erosion of israel's image, is an indication of how far down they have come. To this day, no one understands what your bombing of lebanon was all about, just as no one agrees with your description of hezbollah as terrorists. They are no more than shiite militia supporting the shiites class in lebanon, defending its southern border. Israel hates it that there is anyone who dares stand up to them. Or maybe they are just totally paranoic. had they negotiated with hezbollah, they'd have the soldiers back.
