I lived mostly in Izmir from 1950 to 1980. I also lived in Istanbul and Ankara. We were close neighbors and friends with mayor Osman Kibar, friends with Ali Kocatepe's father Recep bey etc. My parents were not just disturbed but all their belongings were confiscated by the government under the name of VARLIK VERGISI. My father was sent to a labor camp under the so called 20 Kura draft to Afyon. I remember vaguely the 1955September6-7 riots against Jews. But righteous Turks came to our help. Izmir had a Greek majority followed by Armenians. Muslims came 3rd. Today there are only 1 or 2 Armenians left in Izmir. Israel has Arab/Muslim members in the Knesset and an Arab did take the presidency for 2 weeks two years ago. The names you gave Jak Kamhi, Cem Hakko are businessmen. How many mustesars are there in any ministry in Turkey that are Jewish or Armenian? An Armenian recently passed the exam to be eligible but a job was not assigned to him so far. Iyi Geceler
