    Mr. Bar'el, do you really want democracy in Saudi Arabia? As an Israeli, do you really want a government in Saudi Arabia that will do what the population wants? Surely you know as well as the rest of us that those billions of dollars worth of arms will not be used against Israel, or anyone else for that matter. They will be put in warehouses to rot. They might as well be buried in the sand. The point is to return US dollars to the US treasury. That's what the US-Saudi relationship is all about. Yes, many Saudis hate Christians and Jews. Do you really think that that would change if their school textbooks told them that Christians and Jews are nice people? Those people have access to TV and the Internet. They know what is happening in the world. They hate Christians and Jews because of what the governments of the USA and Israel are doing. That is obvious. Anyway, why do you care about their silly school textbooks? Israel has nuclear weapons. Nobody can lay a finger on Israel.
