Hamas may have told Israel it isn’t looking for another war in Gaza, but it’s clearly desperate to advance its attack tunnels. It’s also delighted to be sowing seeds of discontent and concern among the Israeli public.04:19 13.02.16 | 0 comments
The perplexity we have when we see someone like Cardinal Lustiger, is only a sign of how much we have let our religion degrade throughout the centuries. Have you never seen a christian jew? Let me spell out some examples for you: Jesus, Mary, St. Peter, St. John, St.Paul, ...none of them stopped being jewish. What happened in the first centuries, as we can see from the story of the Acts of the Apostles was the following: on one side, there was clearly a division in the jews, with some welcoming the good news preached by Peter and the others, while others couldn't believe it. But from the beginning the church started from within judaism and with no intention to separate. On the other hand, through St. Paul and St. Peter, the faith started to be preached to the gentiles also, and so we came to have a church that was made of both jews and gentiles. And there is no reason why that souldn't still be like that today.
