Howdy Canadian; As soon as the Islamic hoards can manage to stiffle themselves and stay on their side of the border (like Egypt and Jordan), then Israel can withdraw from the West Bank and the Golan Heights. The Israeli withdrawals from southern Lebanon in 2000 and from the Gaza Strip in 2005 both of which resulted in continued rocket attacks and militant/terrorist raids on internationally-recognized Israeli sovereign territory are not very encouraging for any further Israeli withdrawals. The UN Resolutions are not one-way street. There are conditions that the Arab nations need to meet as well. The onus does not all rest on Israel. The Arab League proposal included the so-called "right of return" of Palestinian refugees and their descendants to Israel proper whereas UNSCR 242 calls for a "just settlement" to the refugee problem. Israel will never allow 4 million hostile Palestinians to swamp her demographically. Think of something else.
