We are not looking for WMD but to destory their production capability before they become operable. We know where the critical facilities are. Everything is targetable by air including unmanned cruise missiles. Take the Israeli destruction of Saddam's nuclear facilty in 1982 and times it by 30. That is the war. Awacs in the sky will alert any missile or plane take offs and those can be destroyed over Iran itself. This attack has no comparison ot the nation building exercise the US is conducting in Iraq. Airforce runways will be hit. Missile silos will be hit. Nuclear facilities will be hit. It is a made-for-US- type of war. Target rich with little or no ground supoort needed. This guy sounds like the 1990 Senate debate about how many US tropps will be killed by Saddam's army ( at the time the 4th largest in the world). Estimates over 10,000 were routinely given. The DOD reports that U.S. forces suffered 148 battle-related deaths, plus one pilot listed as MIA.
