If Israel goes on on the military path against Iran, it will create negative consequences it will find hard to overcome. History proves that power based on armed aggression alone is short-lived. It is much better do try to depolarize the conflict and keep a convincing defense. That is a much better path. Look at China it build a wall to be freed from the aggression of its neighbors and was successful for thousands of years. Israel has such wall, it is its nuclear capability, No country is going to attack Israel for the simple reason they know the consequences would be terrible. Why do people insist on creating this image of Iran leaders being suicidal? It is nonsense they live very happily in their walled palaces and have no desire to change that. If we want them to become foolish we should indeed attack them, that will give ideological radicals infinite power. In fact it would be better if both parties would recognize each others fears in stead of trying to look so bold. Iran is scared about an American intervention and wants a nuclear bomb to feel save. With a nuclear bom they reckon they are no longer on the target list of the US. Though Iran uses rhetoric saying that Israel will perish they never claimed they would do that themselves, in fact they fiercely denied that. They are not stupid, and they have other problems. In the end of the day Israel simply is a good scapegoat to get popular support and Israel is only helping them. In these times we need intelligent leaders that are able to direct emotions in constructive way, but we often see leaders that poor more oil into the fire and try to benefit from the fear. It is a dangerous course. Fear inevitably leads to hate and conflict. Can Israel stop fearing?
