#3 is correct. Funding of US Congressional and Presidential election campaigns must be changed to eliminate private and corporate donations and private ads, commercials etc. This ends the payback requirement and allows officeholders to vote without an obligation other than to their constituents. Unfortunately it will never happen because the sleazebags in office won’t let it happen. It will happen only if the voters find the necessary leverage or there is such a downturn in the US economy that the change can be forced. Americans can refuse to fight in American wars unless the change is made. Americans can riot or refuse to work unless the change is made. There are many leverage means but Americans have not yet figured out how critical this change is to ensure no besmirching of the already faded but still beautiful American dream. Jews contribute to American politics in ways other than by contributing money. Given that there are only 2% Jews in the US population, their contribution and importance to industry, commerce, entertainment, literature and science is incredible. Everyone knows what a bagel is even if they would not recognize a Jew.
