In fact, the story does appear on the Reuters website: http://uk.reuters.com/article/2012/12/13/uk-palestinians-israel-reuters-idUKBRE8BC1KM20121213 I checked, because it may indeed have been propaganda (for example, PressTV (hardly Israel friendly) , gives it prominence. This is very, very serious, not just from the point of view of the alleged behavior of the soldiers, but the very real damage that it does to the State of Israel. I sometimes wonder if there actually is a wish on the Israeli government's behalf to care about public relations. It makes life very difficult for those of us who love Israel, to see it behave as an unruly child. Regrettably, we hear time and time again, that 'Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East', that 'The Israeli army is the most moral in the world', and that 'We are a Light unto Nations.' If one makes such claims, one has to stick to them. Yes, the behavior of the governments, armies and citizens in many of the countries that surround Israel leaves much to be desired. But they don't necessarily claim the high moral ground.
