Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Though she concedes boycott efforts by some on the left have a negative effect, she rejects calls to keep peace efforts local.01:12 01.05.16 | 4 comments
If self defence is part of religion, then you are right Bypotobac. Otherwise, you are full of it. In any event, to respond to other posters, this has nothing to do with Israel. What is going on here is simply a decision born of pragmatism and accomodation. Pragmatism because many fans and significant portions of the techincal team involved in production are Jewisn and, of course, they are being accomodated. I do agree that if there is a burden created by this kind of accomodation to the majority, the game should go on. The same accomodation should be made to peoples of other beliefs. I say all this despite my belief that religion contributes to a devisive world and is more bad than good.
