There is a "quote" apparently from a UN report - actually press release - from Mr Rubinstein that has caused a bit of fuss.... Here is the quote: "Israel today was an apartheid State with four different Palestinian groups: those in Gaza, East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Israeli Palestinians, each of which had a different status." Here is the release - http://www.un.org/News/Press/docs/2007/gapal1062.doc.htm. The latter half of the quote is self-evident: 1) East Jerusalem is annexed to Israel, Arabs in that part are Israelis but a number have Jordanian citzenship as well. 2) Israeli arabs are Israeli full-stop 3) West bank Palestinians have Jordanian citzenship 4) Gazans have no citzenship as Egypt denied it to them in the 19 years they "administered" - note not "occupied" - Gaza. But as usual no one seems to care that the article is clearly wrong.
