I remember many years ago going into a thrift store and buying an old army officer's winter coat. I wore it home and my father asked why I was wearing it. My father, a WWII veteran said: but you did not earn that and went on to explain his feelings. I think my father's feelings apply to the people who are tattooing themselves: they did not earn those tattoos. And by tattooing themselves, they are showing nothing but disrespect for those who suffered so horribly. Let's leave those who died to rest in the respectful peace they so rightfully deserve.
