But as long as the religious ideology of Islam remains as it is, stuck in the 7th century, there will always be potential danger from that quarter. Nothing but religious reform within Islam (similar to the Reformation in Christianity and Reform in Jdaism) will lessen the ever-present danger of Islamist extremism.
