While I do understand the decision to introduce subscriptions, I feel that it is a step back. Haaretz was a different voice of Israel. As a liberally inclined person, I saw your newspaper as a voice of moderation in a choir of extreme right coming out of Israel. That voice will now be stifled even more. Still, maybe I am wrong. I wish to be wrong, and Haaretz only gets better and stronger. I do wish you all the success, but I am out of the subscription game. I do like the new site design. It really conveys a sense of professionalism.
