As usual, Beilin distorts reality to fit his world view. The President's bold decision to freeze out Arafat actually was an enormous contribution to peace. Of course, if Beilin accepted this, he would be forced to admit that he was tragically mistaken in negotiating with the monster, and Yossi Beilin is never wrong.
