Was keeping Tenet in office when he was elected. With Tenet gone, the United States may have had a chance to avoid 9/11 - which didn't take much brains actually. French intelligence said they passed info along about the 9/11 conspiracy and guess who threw it in the waste basket. That;s right Tenet who was probably too busy eating his souvlaki with white sauce. Maybe he used the Frenchg reports to wipe his hands after his snack. Tenet is proof of how democracies can fail. Bush still hasn't learned his lesson proven by the Medal of Freedom he bestowed upon this idiot. A Medal of Mediocrity is all this fool deserves. With fools like Tenet and his FBI counterpart who shelved a report warning about Arabs taking flying lessons and being so politically correct they refused to examine Zacarias Moussaoui's computer after his arrest. These are the same people who thought Iraqis would cheer US troops. And these guys have the gall to tell Israel what to do?
