"Bush is trying to change the Middle East while America is dominant. Each year that will change." - Matthew Bush is accomplishing quite the opposite. So far he has proven that the US is not invincible in the Middle East, indeed it has been pinned down to the point of impotence by the insurgencies in Iraq and Afghanistan. Moreover, he is paying for the war with tax cuts which is plunging the United States ever deeper in international debts, and those debts are evermore held by China. How serious is the erosion of the United States REAL strength? Not the 'military colossus' of Bush's fevered imagination but the real strength of economic power? Two oil producing nations have now made it mandatory to pay for oil in Euros, not dollars. Those nations are Iran and - IRAQ. Got it? George Bush is performing the most profligate performance of Imperial Dissipation ever seen.
