I am by no means a Middle Eastern expert, and knew even less when I saw Sharon march around the the al-Aqsa Mosque on the evening News. It was obvious that Sharon was trying to provoke a response from the Palestinians and break the Oslo Accords. He was one of the most hated men in the Arab World, and his presence at the third most holy place in the Islam left no doubt as to his purpose. My comment at the time was "you Idiot"! If this ramp is really necessary, let the people running the Mosque build it. Quit picking at the wound, or more blood will run.
