Thank you Dale you state my feelings well. I agree that every country has historical acts that are shameful including Britian, France, Germany all the big EU countries either while they were colonialists or just killers. I am often ambivalent about capitol punishment and often question the morality of it. However, I make distinctions with mass murders and do not waste one iota of my time with morality questions, where was the morality of Hitler and Sadam who I consider an equal player. I think the Kurds not Iraqi's (#70) opinions should play a major part in how this is viewed. They were the biggest victims of Sadam's brutality.
