We all know Israel is the most democratic and tolerant country in this terror- and dictator-infested part of the world. Why not take this money and build affordable housing for real people who need it? That would be a better use of the funds and a more appropriate monument than yet another museum with big, empty spaces used occasionally for events which can as easily be done elsewhere in existing spaces.
