Compensation to those refugees who were driven from their homes in Palestine in 1948 should have absolutely nothing to do with the issue of Jews who fled Arab countries as a result of zionism. They are tow seperate matters and should be dealt with seperately. The more than 600,000-700,000 Palestinians made homeless through the creation of Israel were from one country and they wish to go back to their homes. The Arab Jews left 9 countries and the circumstances in each of them was different. In some cases they left with their wealth or the proceeds from what they could sell. In other cases there was out and out confiscation without any compensation. They overwhelming majority of these Arab Jews, or so the zionist narrative goes, have no desire to return to their lands of birth. In cases where Jews were robbed of their property or assets, then negotiations should be held with those countries over compensation. But this has nothing to do with the Palestinians.
