    Palestinians take a step that changes no facts on the ground and that demonstrates a clear commitment to realizing a future with two states, although not two states achieved through Israel's preferred process. For this they and the UN are sanctioned. In response Israel commits to building more settlements on confiscated land, changing facts on the ground and decreasing the likelihood of a two state solution. In response I am sure the US will say "tut, tut, not good". Tell me again why the US isn't seen as an honest broker?
