If Netanyahu had come to Washington with a fig leaf instead of salt to rub into the wounds, Israel would face a different future. Anyone who thinks Obama is not the brightest politician of our age is living in a fantasy. Look to the American Health Care reform, if you doubt this. Israel COULD be America and Obama's friend again...all it would take is a rescinding of two the approval of two development projects. Play with fire all you want, but Obama will win in the end. He can be Israel's friend, or he can be Israel's unfriend...Israel seems to have decided that because he is a Democrat, and because his skin is dark that he is an enemy. Beware, it was Democrats Truman, LBJ, Carter and Clinton that helped Israel on the world stage, without the religious fanaticism of Bush and his minions. Play Obama for a fool, and you will be made fools in return. Beware, however, because Israel is being perceived even among American liberals (read Jews) as a greedy thug in the world.
