History has taught us one thing, that humans are capable of committing horrendous acts against other humans. The idea of Austria, Germany, England and other nations having a law where deparaging an incident that occured well over half a century ago is obscene. One can deny that there was no Irish Holocaust committed by the British in the 19th century, that there was no Chinese Holocaust comitted by the Japanese during WWII, that there was no Armenian Holocaust comitted by the Turks and walk around free. Question or make light of the events that happened to Jews during WWII gets you hard time. Talk about elitist and hypocritical. Eventually the pendulum will swing in the opposite direction and there will be a major reaction to this preferential treatment given to a single group who suffered, but is no different than other groups who have suffered as well.
