Bravo for breaking an informal embargo and for having been the first German FM after 10 years to visit the rogue state in Tehran. Since this visit, trade with the mullahs doubled, really a big achievement! And bravo for 3 wasted years of so called negotiations with the mullahs that have brought as a result 3000 centrifuges operational in Iran! Bravo also for having hailed the role of the mullahs as an honest broker during the conflict in Lebanon last year! Bravo for having called the US to stop trying to undermine Tehran while Europe is trying to negotiate with it. Bravo for encouraging a rogue system that tramples under foot basic civilian rights. Bravo for having seen developments in Iran with enthusiasm and for greeting Iranian elections and its results! And bravo finally that you approved the sale of nuclear enrichment technology to democracies like Iran and China, sales that you opposed when you were not wearing expensive suits but jeans and sneakers!
