The Israeli government procrastinates on the construction of an Arab university in the Gallil, claiming lack of funds yet wishes to funnel money into a university in occupied territory. This smacks of duplicity and a continued lack of empathy for Israeli citizens. Of course the proposed boycott of Israeli universities is unwarranted. However, a boycott of services (including universities) on occupied land is perfectly appropriate. It's about time that supporters of Israel stand up and state that no more will they support expansionist policies that only serve to impede the effectuation of peace.
