    "Forget about the Holocaust, this guy can help us test our bomb and will buy our weapons!" Since Israeli nuclear weapons have never been publicly acknowledged , much less tested, I doubt this is a real quote. But no matter, I really do not care about Vorster and what opinions he may have had, because having checked up about him, I see nothing tangible apart from having spoken favorably of Hitler and opposed South Africa joining the Allies. A regrettable attitude, but as they say, actions speak louder than words. A regrettable action would be more like the one of the Palestinian Grand Mufti, chairman of the highest Arab executive body in Mandate Palestine, Amin al-Husseini. He spent the war years with Hitler, convinced various European governments not to allow Jews to leave, and helped set up SS divisions for Balkan Moslems. Various defendants at Nuremberg said he worked closely with Eichmann and helped inplement the 'final solution'. Oh, but Israel liked Vorster 30 years on.
