Shlomo Sand deplores the boycott of Bar-Ilan university by the British Association of University Teachers. Then he suggests that Israel's academics disengage from the College of Judea and Samaria, and from any cooperation, direct or indirect, with the occupation. I don't know what exactly is the difference between boycott and disengagement in this context. In any case, if the British boycott will push Israel's academics to take action against the occupation, we can only be grateful.
