I don't know where you live but if you were living like the residents of Southern Israel, you might well be talking differently about those "bottle rockets." The point is not that "ONLY" such and such a number of people were killed during those years. The intention to kill and to terrorize, to make normal life impossible, was surely there. If they didn't kill, well, it wasn't for lack of desire. Second of all, people could not conduct a normal life,. They were relentlessly terrorized. Every day another siren. Would you like to live like that? What would you expect your country to do if you were afraid - ON A DAILY BASIS - that your kids would get killed at school or in their beds? I can almost hear you thinking "Israelis deserve it because we are occupiers." Well, this was after we left Gaza. Yes, it was an imperfect gesture, but it was a gesture and well, every Israeli remembers what we got in response. How dare you, actually, make light of those "bottle rockets"? Why should any population have to endure that? Oh, I forgot. We're Israelis. We're different.
