I take your point but that would be insisting that only moderate political thinkers, who are prepared to be flexible and make compromises, represent the Israeli side in negotiations, while intransigent hardliners who will not consider anything less than the pre 67 armistice line, represent the Palestinians. If a settler is prepared to be part of the negotiations to create borders with a future Palestinian that can only be a good thing. If Hamas were to take a similar flexible position then the future might not look so bleak for both sides.
