After Netanyahu says he would wait for a new U.S. president to reach a better military deal for Israel, American officials fire back.00:09 08.02.16 | 5 comments
A Fatah/Hamas reconciliation agreement is more of a defeat of Israeli intransigence than a victory of terrorism. Fatah did everything in its power including killing its own people to please the Israelis and convince them they are serious about peace and they got nothing whatsoever in return. They even received unprecedented accolades from the Israelis for their tenacity at stopping violence against Israelis. Their best bet is to reconcile with their brethren, walk away from a never ending "peace process" which is in effect just a cover for the propagation of the occupation and make the occupation quite costly by resisting it by all possible means starting with civil disobedience and marches by the tens of thousands on the checkpoints from all directions. The pressure is building to ignite the powder keg, the fuse is about to get lit. It may get lit much sooner than most people think. Take a good look of what is happening in the neighboring countries. Palestine is no different.
