Boehner is about as popular with the US right as is Obama. He made a deal with Obama. That is viewed by some as the equivalent of negotiating with al Qaida because Obama is L i b e r a l. But Netanyahu might do well to at least acknowledge the existence of the US policy position that has been in effect since 1967 with each and every US administration, that the West Bank and Jerusalem are conquered land under Geneva IV, even the parts Israel wants to keep. That would mean trading parts of pre-war Israeli controlled land for what Israel wants to keep. It would also mean listening to the PA positions and negotiating in good faith instead of just trying to dictate terms. Fox News is no more mainstream than MSNBC. If Netanyahu treats Congress as a Fox news audience, he will harm Israel. And many in Congress are smarter and better informed than Larry King. BSing them would be a mistake. Telling non-verifiable stories would be a mistake. One Senator has just learned that it is not a good idea to do this, even after issuing his clarification that his prior statement was "not intended to be factual." That can lead to ridicule, even by Jewish comedians.
