People seem to be blurring the definitions and then using them to fudge their arguments. A Semite is someone from the speakers of one of the semitic language family group - which includes most of the middle east and parts of north Africa. So why do so many Jews claim that only they can be offended when someone uses politically incorrect terms? Being critical of Israeli policy is a different matter altogether.
