Calling a spade a spade. It was just yesterday that I proposed the same argument in our discussion with my friend. The past as presented in the hear and now is cetrainly manupulated to present a consencus needed to maintain the narative as required by the governing power of the day, it is also manipilated by the oposition To buttress their argument. But how can we overcome the enemity today if the sometime ignoble past is resurgitated to unbalance the present? Reconciliation with a great dose of empathy amd cmpassion, perhaps that might do it?
