The blockade is a response to Hama' rocketing, hatred, and terror within and without. The blockade can contain the symptoms to a point, but hurts the people more than the tyrannical regime. The possibility that the US start talking is not terrible, but letting boats in supposedly to help the people is pure propaganda. Large container ships could be sent to those who are serious about bringing in additional supplies thru existing channels. When Hamas lowers the rhetoric and violence, Israel can ease the blockade. The most dramatic and appropriate thing would be the releases of Shallit in exchange for returning to normality. Egypt doesn't want Gaza. You got to ask , Why? Jordan doesn't want the West Bank. Same question, Why?
