    I don't understand why supposedly intelligent people continually point to the Gaza War as the turning point in Turkish-Israeli relations. The turning point was the election of Erdogan and his party. They were/are the ones that moved off the path of secularism to that of Islamism. It is this that is pushing the agenda of Erdogan. If one is running toward a wall, a collision will not be avoided when one closes one's eyes. The world must stop blaming Israel for the split. The blame solely rests at the feet of those walking down the path they choose.
