If Israel was really so consumed with " yearning for peace " it would not be at the same time so consumed with niggling and conniving every last bit of land it can brutally squeeze from Palestinian goat farmers and olive growers while endlessly scheming to get the US to look the other way. This is just more of the "poor little Isreal extending its hand in peace" hasbara deceptive nonsense. Olmert's "oh so generous" (it's always "so generous!") "peace offering" was not "delusional." What is delusional is the idea that Israel can have what ever it thinks some 5000 year-old book entitles it to and the rest of the indigenous population be damned. I sound fed up? I am. I am fed up with the endless self-deluding propaganda the Israeli right wing ties the world up with, a perennial manipulative guilt trip, a psycho-Zionist obsession with more and more land at any brutal cost . What narcissism!
