Syria's Golan Heights are occupied. I doubt Binladin's mother liked that. Syrians are pro-Palestinian. Saudis want East Jerusalem and want access to the Aqsa. Arabs have been upset for decades regarding American policy towards Palestinians. Technically, settlements are illegal, and when Abbas says he won't negotiate until Israel freezes settlements, and Obama doesn't enforce UN resolutions on Israel, only Iraqis or other Arabs. So, Binladin, as much as I cannot stand him and dislike him and think he should be put on trial, he is expressing views reflecting the Arab street, and he knows that. How many Arab and Muslim civilians have been killed due to Israel? Thousands and thousands with American weapons. Who is Al Qaeda targeting mostly? Germany? No. It's not targeting any Western country just for being Western. Is it attacking Sweden? No. Also, Bush senior encouraged Saddam Hussein to invade Kuwait and then punished him for it in 1991. And then put troops in Saudi.
