'Billy,' Israel's 'goals' are to be allowed to live without constant military incursions on our borders and rockets falling on our population centers. If we have to 'level' parts of Lebanon to do so, then so be it. Fortunately only a few hundred Lebanese have been killed, and many of them were combatants. This is an actual war. Innocent people will die, which is sad. On the other hand, if you compare the 'death toll' of innocents to any other modern war (not involving the IDF) you will find that Israel is THE best at minimizing civilian casualties, though they are unfortunately unavoidable in such circumstances. I also find it ridiculous that you claim to have more operative information on conditions on the ground in this war than the people fighting it. Apparently you have better information than the IDF about the location of rocket batteries which are targeting us here in Israel. I would be pleased to get ahold of this information and pass it along to the IDF.
