The state of Israel was re-established in 1948. All previous claims to land are inadmissable under international law. International Law also makes clear that the taking of land by force is not recognised. If the European Union states that East Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine. The EU will merely confirming this part of International Law. Planet Earth does not recognise Israeli soveriegnty of East Jerusalem, and does not recognise Israel's annexation of East Jerusalem. Any amount of huffing and puffing by your good selfd will not change that. Israel's capital as recognised by the International Community (ie Planet Earth) is Tel Aviv that is where our embassies are. Unless of course you know different.
