As a foreigner I am not entitled to judge the current state of the Israeli army. What I am entitled to, is to point out the big moral difference between Israels fighting in Lebanon and Gaza. Israel was attacked by Hezbollah and it has the right to defend itself. Even if the reaction (at least in the first days) was disproportio- nate I can understand what Israel is trying to do their. But I have absolutely zero comprehension for what Israel is doing in Gaza right now !! Since the abduction of the Israeli soldier the IDF has killed 113 (!!) Palestinians (many, many of them innocent civilians). I know you have a problem with Quassams, but that doesnt allow you to bomb indiscriminatly houses of suspected militants, if you know there are civilians in there. It's true that Israel left Gaza last year, but you didn't give the ordinary people there any rights of free movement, try to think just one second how you would react, if you werent allowed to leave your city for years......
