British Airways tried offering a no frills service and it was a disaster. One of ELALS attractions for many people is its security, how is a no frills airline going to be able to make up the money through ticket sales to finance all the security? ELAL and its small fleet cannot and limit range of destinations cannot compete with the no frills giants like Easyjet. If fewer planes are on the major routes then its going to drive up the prices. There is just no logic in ELAL trying to compete with itself and they should stick with what they know how to do best and thats stay out of no frills and leave that for Israir.
